Qhama Foundation was formed in May 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic crisis with the aim to help those in need and to restore dignity.
The word Qhama in IsiXhosa means to flourish or blossom. Our aim is to support and equip vulnerable minorities in South Africa to blossom,
realize their potential and become independent contributing members of society
We aim to build the capacity of those vulnerable women and youth,
to be able to stand on their own and be independent by establishing working relationships with donors and funding agencies
to fund various initiatives to aide those vulnerable groups
To become a safe haven for GBVF victims that provides temporary shelter for families, provides skills transfer and training, and
providing mental health support to vulnerable minorities. Our vision is to create a self sustaining society by providing the tools
needed to succeed.
